Play a very tough character in 'Ghazi': Taapsee

Chennai, Dec 9 (IANS): Actress Taapsee Pannu, who will soon start shooting for Telugu film "Ghazi" with Rana Daggubati, says she essays a very tough character in the film. This will require her to spend a lot of time in its preparation.

"I have decided to go a few days before my shoot because it's a tough character to get into so I definitely need time to get into the feel of the script and character," Taapsee told IANS.

To be helmed by Sankalp Reddy, the film is tipped to be India's first submarine film which will be about the mysterious sinking of PNS Ghazi, a Pakistan deployed Submarine.

"The director has done tremendous research with regards to the script and characters, so I'm looking forward to working on it with him," she said.

Later this month, Taapsee is likely to join the sets in Hyderabad. She's excited to be shooting in the city after a long time.

"It's been more than two years since I shot in Hyderabad and I'm eagerly looking forward to it. I love the city and people there. I have so many friends there," she added.

As Taapsee started her career from Hyderabad and has a lot of good memories of it, she wants some time to reconnect with the city.
