Mangaluru, Nov 26: All India Bank Officers’ Confederation (AIBOC) will be holding its 78th executive committee meeting at Hotel Gateway, Mangaluru on November 27. The EC will deliberate among other things issues like government’s efforts to privatise public sector banks by reducing its stake below 51%, transferring government stake in IDBI Bank similar to that of UTI Bank, merger of banks etc and chalk out strategies to stall such moves which are not in the interest of the common man. The meeting will also discuss issues before the banking industry like NPA and others.
In the evening a function to felicitate D N Prakash, vice president AIBOC and president, CBOO who is laying down his office on attaining superannuation from the bank after nearly four decades of service and three decades of service at CBOO is arranged as follows:
