Mumbai, Nov 6 (IANS): A benchmark index of Indian equities markets, the 30-scrip Sensitive Index (Sensex), on Friday was trading flat at 20.47 points or 0.08 percent down during the afternoon session.
The wider 50-scrip Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) was also trading 1.85 points or 0.02 percent up at 7,957.30 points.
The Sensex of the S&P Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), which opened at 26,284.01 points, was trading at 26,283.73 points (at 1.18 p.m.) in the afternoon session, down 20.47 points or 0.08 percent from the previous day's close at 26,304.20 points.
The Sensex touched a high of 26,438.86 points and a low of 26,190.18 points in the trade so far.
