Indian markets on positive road


Chennai, Nov 6 (IANS): The 30-scrip Sensitive Index (Sensex) on Friday turned positive after opening at a lower note during the morning session of the trade.

The S&P Sensex of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) after opening at 26,284.01 points touched a high of 26,353.85 and a low of 26,276.32 points in the morning trade.

The previous day the Sensex closed at 26,304.20 points.

The Sensex was trading at 26,39.86 points up by 88.66 points (0.34 percent) around 9.25 a.m.

The broader 50-scrip Nifty at National Stock Exchange (NSE) opened at a higher note 7,956.55 points as compared to the previous day's close of 7,955.45 points.

The Nifty was trading at 7,990.45 points around 9.25 a.m.
