IDBI Bank Q2 net profit grows marginally


Chennai, Nov 4 (IANS): IDBI Bank Ltd on Wednesday said it closed the second quarter of the current fiscal with a net profit of Rs.119.50 crore.

In a regulatory filing with BSE, the bank said it has posted a net profit of Rs.119.50 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2015 as compared to Rs.118.49 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2014.

Total income has increased from Rs.7,610.52 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2014 to Rs.7,913.64 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2015.

The bank's gross non-performing assets (NPA) and net NPA rose to 6.92 and 3.16 percent respectively.
