Gurgaon, Oct 31 (IANS): The country's leading car making company Maruti Suzuki expanded its business in the Delhi NCR region with the launch of its 66th dealership 'Platinum Motocorp' in Manesar.

Spread over 50,000 square feet with a capacity to service 100 cars a day, the facility was launched on Friday evening near the Jaipur-Delhi highway.

R.S. Kalsi, executive director (marketing and sales) of Maruti Suzuki India Limited, addressed the media on the tie-up with Lalit Gulati, chairman of Platinum Motocorp and founder of Modelama Group.

Modelama Group is one of the major exporters of textiles and also dabbles in power, jewellery and the real estate businesses.

The facility in Manesar offers Maruti insurance, instant finance through all channel partner banks and exchange of pre-owned cars at the dealership under one roof.

"The facility has one of the best workshop/service centres in north India and provides service and repair to all cars. Apart from this, all kinds of spare-parts of all car models are available at the outlet," said Gaurav Gulati, managing director of Platinum Motocorp.

"Apart from offering different essential services under one roof, we wish to deliver excellence to our customers. The location, fully-automated workshop and working hours (7 a.m. to 9 p.m.) of our outlet in Manesar provides ease to consumers," Gaurav added.

"Manesar is an important car market. It was important for Maruti Suzuki to be present in this market and provide not just sales but after-sales services to our potential and existing customers," Kalsi said.
