Mumbai, Oct 26: Mangaluru Kusalda Kalavider group of artistes under the direction of Lion Kishore D Shetty and the aegis of ordinary sub committee of Billavara Association enacted a tulu drama titled
'Badkeregad Saipinakulu' at Billava Bhavana auditorium on the evening of Saturday October 24 to raise funds for the Health Fund.
Billavara Association Mumbai president Nithyananda D Kotian lit the traditional lamp. Former president of Bharath Cooperative Bank and present director V R Kotian was chief guest. Bharath Bank directors Chandrashekar S Poojary, advocate Somanath B Ameen, former executive president of ordinary sub committee, Gangadhar J Poojary were present on the occasion as guests of honor and wished the programme well.
“Neglect is the root cause of illness. Therefore we should give priority to health. Organizations of health should also work towards the all round health of the society,” said V R Kotian.
Vice president Bhaskar V Bangera, Shanker D Poojary, Dr U Dhananjay Kumar, honorary chief treasurer Mahesh C Poojary, women's wing executive president Shakuntala K Kotian and others were on the dais.
Former association president L V Ameen, honorary joint secretaries Harish G Salian, Premanath P Kotian, Ashalatha Kotian, honorary joint treasurers Rajesh J Bangera, Shivarama S Poojary, Sadashiva A Karkera, Mohan D Poojary, Bharath Bank directors Bhaskar M Salian, Harischandra G Mulki, managing director and CEO C R Mulki, chief general manager Anil Kumar R Ameen, general manager Shobha Dayanand and others were present.
Vidhita A Poojary led the prayer. Ordinary committee executive president Raja V Salian welcomed the gathering. Association honorary chief secretary Dharmapal G Anchan gave a keynote address and compered the programme.
