Spanish stock market falls


Madrid, Oct 20 (IANS): The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 fell 0.24 percent to close at 10,207.30 points, down from the 10,231.50 points of Friday.

In Monday's session, OHL shares led falls losing 6.25 percent, followed by FCC, Repsol, ArcelorMittal, Sacyr and Abertis A that, respectively, lost 3.47 percent, 3.34 percent, 2.91 percent, 1.93 percent and 1.85 percent, Xinhua reported.

On the other hand, IAG shares led rises climbing 1.82 percent, followed by Gamesa, Acerinox, Inditex, Amadeus and Abengoa "B" that, respectively, rose 1.72 percent, 1.51 percent, 1.18 percent, 1.16 percent and 0.89 percent.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium stood at 119.40 points at Monday closing time, falling slightly from the 122.30 points of Friday, and Spain's 10 year bond interest rate stood at 1.75 percent, showing no big differences when compared with Friday.
