Mangaluru: Ten two-wheelers go missing from showroom

Mangaluru, Oct 16: The owners of Kanchan Udyog Honda showroom at Alape Padil here have filed a complaint in the rural police station here, about the theft of ten motor bikes valued at about Rs 5.11 lac.

New vehicles arriving from the company are accounted for and kept in the godown located adjacent to the showroom. Auditing of physical stock at the godown is conducted every quarter. During the recent audit, the showroom owners found to their surprise that there were no records of ten vehicles which were neither sold nor registered.

After a thorough check, the showroom owners have concluded that these vehicles were stolen. Rural police have registered a case on the basis of complaint made by the owner of the firm, Prasadraj.
