Benglauru, Oct 10: The curtain raiser event of the State’s prestigious ‘Invest Karnataka 2016’ will be held in Bengaluru on Wednesday.

The logo of the event, ‘Invest Karnataka 2016,’ will be unveiled during the inaugural function.

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will inaugurate the curtain raiser event and unveil the logo and website of the ‘Invest Karnataka’ meet.

State’s Industry Minister R V Deshpade will preside over the function.

The ‘Invest Karnataka 2016’ would be held from February 3 to 5 to attract investment in various sectors of the economy, according to an official press release..

The interactive website explains the aims of the Invest Karnataka and all the efforts that are being made to “Enable Ease of Doing Business in Karnataka.”

The Congress government’s first investment meet scheduled to be held in Bengaluru from November 23 to 25, has been postponed owing to severe drought across the State.
