Kundapur, Oct 7: A calf in the house of Girija Kulal in Edamakki Guddemane of Shankeranarayana here has become the centre of all attention, for it was born with two mouths and three eyes.

A large number of curious visitors have been flocking to Edamakki to see the calf, which was born on Tuesday October 6. Its other organs are normal. 






The calf is well-built but its face and head look bizarre. It seems to have two faces, with two mouths, two tongues, and two noses. It opens its mouth but is unable to drink milk or water. As the portion of the mouth is heavy, it is not able to lift it. It has two eyes on either side of the face and another eye in the middle of its forehead. There are two eyeballs there.

The people in the household were anxious and surprised on seeing the calf. The news spread like wildfire and all the people who saw the calf felt pity for it.

    I agree with Rita's comment. We are forgetting that we are in a totally cosmetic era. Gone are the days when we had natural stuff. All our food has tons & tons of hormones and there is nothing today which has no chemicals in it.

    we should not wonder such unnatural things happen to either human or animals.To a most extent we ourselves are responsible.we are playing with nature ,and nature hits back.we are using many chemicals to grow more and tasty one vegetables,or Rice,spray to vanish grass.spray to vegetables .And this goes to earth and gives us fruits and vegetables we eat.Less we know how it works.because These Chemie changes our genetic material.some wonder why some doesnt get children,or get misbuildung,like this calf.we will be having in future more from this I am sure.so we have to try to live more natural in future.

    Bhandumaam, anything is possible in our country! There is a saying in Hindi "Go to find an idiot and you will get ten"!! Opportunists just by applying some vermillion, garland, chanting etc. would have made some quick crispies at the cost of the unlucky calf!!

    I hope people will not give it a 'miracle' tag. Please let veterinarian experts work on it to remove the parasite before it starves to death. This will of-course need a lot of revenue, the apparently poor family may need contributions to save the calf.
