New Delhi, Oct 6 (IANS): Disney-Pixar's "The Good Dinosaur", a 3D animation film, will hit the Indian screens in December.
The movie will take the audience on an epic journey into the world of dinosaurs where an Apatosaurus named Arlo makes an unlikely human friend. It will release in India on December 4, a week post the film’s US release on November 25, read a statement.
The movie will hit the Indian screens just months after the successful box office run of another Disney-Pixar animation, "Inside Out".
Contrary to Pixar’s tradition of releasing only one film a year, "The Good Dinosaur" will mark the first time when the company will be releasing two films in a year.
"The Good Dinosaur” features the voice of Jeffrey Wright as Arlo’s Poppa, Frances McDormand as Arlo’s Momma, Marcus Scribner as Arlo’s brother Buck, Raymond Ochoa as Arlo, Jack Bright as Spot, Steve Zahn as a pterodactyl named Thunderclap, A.J. Buckley as teen T-Rex Nash, Anna Paquin as Nash’s sister Ramsey and Sam Elliott as T-Rex patriarch Butch.
It is being executive produced by John Lasseter, Lee Unkrich and Andrew Stanton. It features music by Academy Award-winning film composer Mychael Danna and Emmy-nominated composer Jeff Danna.
