Mangaluru: Concrete road inaugurated a week ago develops cracks

Mangaluru, Oct 1: Auto drivers alleged inferior quality work as the Concrete road connecting Thokkottu overbridge and Ullal, inaugurated by Minister Khader a week ago developed cracks.









“The first stage of road being constructed at a cost of Rs 9 crore has developed cracks. The road was in bad condition during the last four years but MLA Khader had not attended to it. Minister Khader had said that the road will be constructed during Urus but it is not completed even after one month after Urus”, alleged driver Nazir.

The local people urged Auto drivers to maintain quality in road work. Ullal municipal council official Roopa Shetty visited the place.
