Mumbai, Jul 17: Jagdish Narayan, senior manager of Bharath Co-Operative Bank, Andheri (W), bagged silver medal and two bronze medals in 4 x 100 meter run, long jump and relay at 21st Malaysian Open Masters Athletic Championship held at Malaysia recently.
He originally hails from Suratkal and is active in sports since his child hood and has won numerous awards during his school and college days. He has won championships in the sports meet organized by Co-Operative Bank and Koti Chennaya sports meet.
Moreover, he has won gold medals in long jump and bronze trophy in 100 meter run at 28th National Veterans Athletics Championship, held recently at Bangalore. He was felicitated by his colleagues at Bharath Co-Operative Bank.
A total of 40 athletes had participated in the international sports meet, led by veteran sportsman Dayanand Kumar.
