Mangaluru: Fire breaks out in SDM College

Mangaluru, Sep 26: Fire erupted at SDM College of Business Management at MG Road here on the night of Friday September 25.

Short circuit is said to be the cause of the fire, which broke out at around 10.15 pm.

Soon after receiving information, a fire tender from Pandeshwar fire service rushed to the spot.

The fire personnel managed to douse the flames after an operation that lasted for about 45 minutes.

A few computers, video cameras, CCTVs and some documents were charred in the incident. The total loss is yet to be estimated, sources at the fire service said.
