Mangaluru, Sep 24: Addressing a press meet here on Thursday September 24, state ABVP secretary Sunil Kumar said, "The Akhila Bharathiya Vidhyarthi Parishad will be organizing a 'Parivarthana Rally' in Bengaluru and Hubli on September 26. The rally will be held against the state government, seeking reforms in education sector throughout the state."
He also said that this protest is organized to throw light on the various problems faced by students. He also alleged that students of backward class and SC/ST community are not getting any scholarship from the government. The hostels in the state are not in good condition and lack proper facilities. The present government has not built any hostels, or degree colleges in the state. Though there are vacant posts for teaching, the government has not filled up the vacancies. The state is facing power crisis. Based on all these problems, ABVP is organizing the rally.
Hithesh Bekal, city secretary and Chaitra, national executive committee member were the other two present at the meet.
