M'luru: Catholic action league organizes cultural fest 'Chorus 2015'


Mangaluru, Sep 14: Catholic Action League (CAL) for the first time in Mangalore diocese organized a inter parish Youth cultural fest 'Chorus 2015'.

Chorus 2015 was inaugurated by chief guest ICYM diocese director Fr Ronald D'souza, CAL Director , parsih preist of Bendur Fr Antony Serrao , Asst director Fr Jason

Lobo, Animator of CAL Walter Colaco, Vincent Goveas and Ronald Walder from parish council and Sujith Norohna convenor of youth and cultural from Bendur parish.

President of CAL Glayson Menezes, Secretary Michelle D'souza and conveyor Nikhil Nazareth were on the dais.


Chorus 2015 was a huge success as 180 participants from 12 parishes from City and episcopal city deaneries participated.

Chorus 2015 was a platform to bring out the talents as well as it was a effort from CAL bring together the ICYM unit youth together.

Chorus 2015 had various exciting youth oriented events for present Generation like photography, face painting, quiz, cooking without fire, ramp walk, 6.60 seconds for fame, Mad adds, treasure hunt and tug of war.

For the concluding programme Ashith Pereira president of district NSUI and Mr. Meril Rego president for Mangalore south youth congress were the Chief guest , asst director of CAL Fr Jason Lobo, president and secretary of CAL Glayson Menezes and Michelle D’souza and Convener Nikhil Nazareth were on dais.

Winner of Chorus 2015: Vamanjoor parish.

Runners up: Cordel parish.
