New Delhi, Sep 9 (IANS): Indian Super League (ISL) franchise Delhi Dynamos has signed Ghanaian Richard Gadze for the second edition of the football tournament that will commence on October 3.
Gadze, 21, is considered to be a talented youngster who has played for Cape Coast Mysterious Dwarfs. He has also featured for Ghana's under-23 team and was part of his country's WAFU Nations Cup-winning squad in 2013.
"There were a lot of clubs interested in me but the project and vision of Delhi Dynamos appealed a lot to me and then it was a very easy decision to make. I am very excited and looking forward to this new experience in my career. To work with some of the biggest names in football like Roberto Carlos, Florent Malouda and John Arne Riise is a dream come true for me," said Gadze in a statement on Wednesday.
Dynamos coach Roberto Carlos said, "Gadze is a gifted footballer with good technique, pace, strength and finishing. I am sure he will play an important role for us this season."
The Dynamos are currently undergoing their pre-tournament tune-up training in Sweden.
