Mangalore, Jun 25: N Satheesh Kumar has taken charge of the post of superintendent of police of Dakshina Kannada district.

He received the guard of honour here on Monday June 25 morning.

He assumed the office following the transfer of B Dayanand to Kolar district recently.

Kumar had previously been the senior assistant superintendent of police, Udupi sub-division.
