Mangalore, Jun 21: Three persons were arrested for stabbing a bus driver here on Wednesday June 20.
The arrested persons have been identified as timekeepers Dinesh, Jagadish and Dinesh. On Tuesday June 19 evening, they allegedly stabbed a bus driver, namely, Rajesh at Rao and Rao circle for not arriving on time. Hence, Rajesh filed a case at Bunder police station.
According to the sources, the accused are now released on bail.
On the other hand, Karmika Parishat had observed ‘Bundh’ by stopping the plying of between Suratkal and the city on Wednesday June 20. At the same time, the union had urged the police to arrest the accused persons.
