Los Angeles, Aug 22 (IANS): Filmmaker George Miller is reportedly being eyed to direct the sequel to Zack Snyder's "Man of Steel" Superman reboot.
The film is delayed due to the release of "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice".
According to Jon Schnepp, who directed the documentary of Tim Burton's cancelled movie "Superman Lives", Miller is expected to direct the sequel, reports aceshowbiz.com.
"George Miller is doing 'Man of Steel 2'. I don't feel weird about breaking it," Schnepp told website Collider.
"Obviously Zack Snyder is doing 'Justice League' one and two, James Wan is doing 'Aquaman'. ... I think George Miller's a perfect choice to do 'Man of Steel 2'. He's going to bring so much to it," he added.
Miller last directed "Mad Max: Fury Road". The 70-year-old is expected to return behind the lens for the sequel "Mad Max: The Wasteland" with Tom Hardy back in the lead role.
