Los Angeles, Aug 21 (IANS): Rapper Ice Cube has denied reports that he and his son O’Shea Jackson Jr are attached to Los Angeles riots movie "April 29, 1992".
Following a report about their involvement, Cube’s team released a statement asserting that he and his son are not formally attached to the film, reports variety.com.
“Ice Cube and O’Shea Jackson Jr have no plans to commit to this project at this time. Any speculations or rumours that suggest that they are confirmed are simply untrue,” the statement read.
The father-son duo worked together as producer and actor on “Straight Outta Compton”, which earned close to $100 million at the box office.
Cube will next be seen in the sequel to “Ride Along” with Kevin Hart.
