Chennai, Aug 18 (IANS): Southern film actors Kamal Haasan and Trisha Krishnan, who will soon be seen in upcoming Tamil thriller "Thoongaavanam", feature in a realistic fight sequence at a crucial juncture in the film.
"This fight sequence takes places in the kitchen of a restaurant. Kamal and Trisha will be seen exchanging blows. The action has been choreographed very realistically by French stuntmen trio Gilles Conseil, Sylvain Gabet and Virgie Arnaud," a source from the film's unit told IANS.
Kamal plays a policeman in the film, which was said to be the official remake of French actioner "Sleepless Night".
Reportedly, Trisha plays a character unlike anything she's done before in her career.
Directed by Kamal's long-time associate Rajesh M. Selva, the film also stars Prakash Raj, Kishore, Sampath Raj, Asha Sharrath, Madhu Shalini and Yuhi Sethu.
The film, which has music by Ghibran, is currently in the post-production phase.
"The dubbing work and other post-production work is going on. If all goes as planned, the film will hit the screens this Diwali," the source said.
