New Delhi, Aug 17 (IANS): Fashion designer Rina Dhaka, who has styled globally known faces like Naomi Campbell and Uma Thurman among many, says she would like to do a show for the "plus size" models and feels she would be "good" at it.
"I do believe that I want to do an event wherein we design specially for plus models and I feel I'll be very good at it," Dhaka told IANS on the sidelines of a fashion event here.
Dhaka, who is known for spiderweb motifs, says every person has a "unique" size.
"Because you know human beings can't just... we can't just clone the herd, each one of us is unique and so is our size," she said.
The designer emphasised that being a plus size is not only about having an unhealthy lifestyle, and that genetics too play an important role.
Dhaka also believes that "big is going be big again".
"In the old times, these girls (skinny models) would be considered ugly, which is 20 years ago... so it's a matter of time," she said, pointing out at how skinny and size zero models are a fad nowadays.
