Los Angeles, Aug 15 (IANS): After voicing Dory in "Finding Nemo" over a decade ago, popular talk show host Ellen DeGeneres will once again lend her vocals to the forgetful fish in the 2003 film's sequel "Finding Dory".
DeGeneres, along with stars Ed O’Neill and Ty Burrell, were here to share a preview of the new film.
The insight of the Disney·Pixar’s film was given at the D23 Expo 2015 on Friday, being held at Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim.
“This is so exciting for me. I'm so proud of this film. I’m so excited for you to see this," she said.
While DeGeneres is giving voice to the blue fish Dory, Neill lends his voice to Hank, a bad tempered octopus; Burrell is the voice of Bailey, a misguided beluga whale and actress Kaitlin Olson voices Destiny, a kind hearted whale shark.
Dory will get a flashback of her past which makes her go on a search mission to locate her parents. The search will take her to various places and the film will narrate the story of how they overcome obstacles and find success.
The film, co-directed by Andrew Stanton and Angus MacLane, will release on June 17, 2016.
