Los Angeles, Aug 14 (IANS): Singer Janet Jackson has asked her friend Giuseppe Zanotti to design custom-made trainers for her to wear on her upcoming 'Unbreakable World Tour'.
"I am thrilled to have been asked by Janet to create the shoes for her tour. She has been a great friend for many years, and I have the utmost respect for her as one of the most iconic and outstanding artists and style icons of our time," Zanotti said in a statement, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
The custom-made shoes will match Jackson's outfits and go on sale to the general public later this year.
Jackson announced plans for her comeback tour in June.
After kicking off the first leg of her tour in Vancouver, she has 36 North American tour dates stretching through until November, although the star has hinted further shows around the world are yet to be announced.
The string of shows have been scheduled in support of her forthcoming 11 album, tentatively titled "Unbreakable".
