Kundapur: Minor girl kidnapped, sexually harassed - Accused arrested from Sagar

Kundapur, Jul 28: The police have arrested a youth for allegedly luring, kidnapping and sexually assaulting a minor girl for over three days.

The accused, Ravi (28), a resident of Jogibettu in Kavradi, was arrested by the Kundapur police in Sagar on Monday July 27.

It is alleged that Ravi sexually assaulted the girl, his neighbour at Kavradi, on the pretext of being in love with her. He also allegedly took her to some other place and sexually harassed her.

The girl went missing on July 23, after which her brother filed a complaint in the police station. The Kundapur police who took up the investigation arrested Ravi at his grandmother's house in Sagar. The girl, who was also found there, has been brought back to Kundapur.

The accused has been booked under POCSO Act. He has been produced in court and sent to judicial custody.

    @Hasim,Kundapura,I meant not everyone but who Dance out of the line.it is understood or?There are so many cases in the past Boys kidnapp Girls,or try to rape girls who are on the way to School and throw away their Body,even in North?No Need to go further.It is not always with consent of Girl this takes place.How many times in Bangalore women who take a rikshaw go home try to divert and other men join them?really disgusting.

    Bhandumaam is quietly meeting all voter's of Mangalore South assembly constituency...he will be AAP candidate against Lobo and Bhatmaam(Yogeesh)...

    I told him, if he shakes hands with at least 50,000 voter's of the constituency before 2018...he is more than likely to be next AAP MLA from Mangalore...

    Looks like he is visiting all markets,shops,gyms, bars(both legal and alcoholic), Roce, Kori Katta, Kambala, Bhootha Kola, Munji, marriage,Nikha, Valdik, Kajar....

    Common guys give a big hand to our Bhandumaam...shortly there will be Kavi Sammelan in Mangalore by Kumar Vishwas...to counter "Samajotsava" of Bhatmaam(Yogeesh)...

    If you talk about human hormones that should apply to both men and girls/ladies. (not only to men)
    Remember that one hand cannot clap. Sins are committed with mutual consent but the blame goes after the boys.
    In this incident, it is sure the boy has taken advantage of a minor girl but that is not the case always. The wise grown up girls know how to turn & twist the lust into love and finally ends with rape. Excuse me if I have annoyed the readers.

    Looks like, Kundapura has overtaken Mangalore. Life style in Kudapura is witnessing new horizon with lots of money/wealth pouring in from Gulf countries and also due to modern amenities.
