Bengaluru: Final report on D K Ravi’s death to come soon-CBI

Bengaluru, Jul 28: The final report on the death of IAS officer D K Ravi will be out soon, it is revealed.

Anil Kumar Sinha, director of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), said this in an interaction with press persons in Bengaluru on Monday. He had visited the city on a review of cases being investigated by CBI, Bengaluru.

“We had to look at the case from different angles. The investigation should finish soon as we are on the fast track. I do not want to put pressure on CBI officials who are doing the probe. You will get to hear about the outcome once the report is finalised.”He said.

Sinha said that his visit to Bengaluru was part of visits to the branches of CBI in the country. He also said that expansion of the Bengaluru CBI will figure in the discussion during his day-long visit. He agreed that staff shortage is an issue to be dealt with.

With regard to the lottery scam, Sinha said a decision will be taken on this case very soon after discussion with concerned officials.

    During UPA rule CBI was called as Congress Bureau of Investigation. Now is it Chaddi Bureau of Investigation?
