Mumbai, Jul 22: A tale of acute water shortage in a village and the attempts that ensue to sell it or redeem it by the 'King' (Saurabh Shukla) and the 'Prince' (Kunal Kapoor), just might prove to be a barrel of laughs. Saurabh Shukla gives it his comic best and while the trailer doesn't give much away, it does reveal, why the movie can be categorised as a daft brand of comedy and audiences might need to leave their brains at home when going to watch this one.
The trailer begins with an ongoing auction of the afore mentioned village that has not water whatsoever. Clearly there are no takers as the auctioneer keeps lowering the selling price and Saurabh Shukla - the king of the village is forced to return home with only his anger and frustration. Soon Kunal Kapoor comes on the scene and tries to sell the village to a bunch of foreigners.
Even though that deal doesn't go as planned for the foreigners are aware of the lack of water. The father-son duo do not cease in their attempts to resolve their own financial crisis.
In some places the jokes seem forced, as in one instance Saurabh claims to have decided to sell the village to Obama. When the servant asks him, who is the person he is referring to, Saurabh says - 'Obama Bin Laden'!! Radhika Apte plays the village damsel, that Kunal likes and wishes to get to know. Gulshan Grover too is part of the cast and is a land owner in the village.
The movie is slated for release later this year.
