Mangaluru, Jul 21: Two talented siblings are all set to mesmerize music lovers with a unique piano concert for charity at Hotel Moti Mahal here on Sunday July 26 at 7.30 pm.
Heba Abdulla and her brother Adam Abdulla, children of Riyaz Abdulla and Mona Saeed, will present 'Choose to make a difference', an exclusive charity piano concert, to raise funds to support a charity initiative called 'Education for All'. The inception of this initiative was in collaboration with Rotary Club of Mangaluru.
The funds raised from the event will be utilized to support Rotary Navachetana English Medium School in Neermarga.
The 'Education for All' is being run by Heba Abdulla. Over the last year she has raised Rs 75,000 by conducting various activities such as bake sales at her school in Dubai, and through contributions from generous donors. These funds have been used to provide facilities such as a drinking water cooler, and cover partial cost of the interlocks at the Navachetana English Medium School. In addition, she has also provided 275 academic books to the school library.
This concert is aimed at raising funds to provide IT equipment such as computers to the school. All proceeds go directly towards the funding of the IT infrastructure of the school, through the Rotary Club of Mangaluru.

About the performers
Heba Abdulla
Heba is a qualified musician having achieved grade 8 certification in piano and grade 5 theory of music both from Trinity College London (TCL). She has also done her intermediate piano at Interlochen, Michigan, USA. She has performed at various events, concerts and recitals in Dubai, UAE and Michigan, USA.
Two years ago she started teaching piano, and has composed a few pieces for solo piano and for an ensemble. Apart from being a musician, she is also a dancer. She has completed her grade 8 ballet certification from the Royal Academy of Dance and continues to pursue vocational training in ballet. She is also proficient in other styles of dance such as contemporary and modern. She is currently studying in Dubai International Academy in year 12 and is a member of the school swim squad.
Adam Abdulla
Adam is a qualified musician having achieved grade 7 certification in piano and grade 5 theory of music both from Trinity College London (TCL). He has also done his intermediate piano at Interlochen, Michigan, USA. He has performed at various events, concerts and recitals in Dubai, UAE and Michigan, USA and is a member of the school ensemble.
He has composed a few pieces for solo piano and for an ensemble. Apart from being a musician, he is also a black belt in karate and is currently training in various forms of martial arts such as judo, MMA and kick boxing. He is interested in robotics and has participated in the World Robotics Championship and in science fairs, winning multiple awards. He is currently studying in Dubai International Academy in year 10.
