Kundapur: Former TMC member accidentally falls from terrace, dies

Kundapur Jun 25: Senior member of the Congress party and former member of town municipal council (TMC) Ratnakar Sherugar (66) breathed his last after accidentally falling down from the a house terrace in Kundapur on Thursday evening, June 25.

The incident happened at the house terrace of Ratnakar Sherugar’s brother on church road. Ratnakar reportedly had gone to the terrace to clear the water logging. While he was clearing the water, he accidentally slipped and fell down.

Ratnakar was also a former member of the V S N (Ltd) bank.

Ratnakar is survived by wife, a son and a daughter.
