Young manager of ready-made clothes store dies at Mumbai

Kasargod, Jun 25: I A Hanifa (28), son of Abdul Khadar-Safiya couple from Erudumkadavu village in the district, died due to high blood pressure all of a sudden at Mumabi during his visit there to buy readymade clothes. He was the manager of readymade clothes store in the town, 'Boys Garage'.

Hanifa had left for Mumbai to replenish stock at his store for the Ramzan season, along with some of his friends. During the journey by train, he fell ill. His friends got down at Panvel near Mumbai, and took him to a nearby hospital. After providing first aid at that hospital, he was shifted to Hinduja Hospital, Bandra Mumbai as his condition had worsened.

Within sometime after admitting him there, Hanifa breathed his last on Tuesday. This sudden and unexpected death has plunged his entire family and group of friends in grief. Hanifa's grandmother, Asthumma, had died at 2 pm on Tuesday, and preparations for her funeral were being made, when the shocking news of death of this young person arrived from Mumbai.

Hanifa had married Shakira from Nekraje two years back. He is survived by wife and an year-old son. On Wednesday, Hanifa's body was brought to his native place and funeral was conducted.
