Mumbai, June 4 (IANS): The trailer of Ajay Devgn's "Drishyam', one of the most anticipated films of the year, was unveiled here on Thursday.
Ajay's only release in 2015 will witness him in an all new avatar as Vijay Salgaonkar, a common man working as a cable operator who challenges the system when his family is threatened.
Tabu will be seen playing the role of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Meera Deshmukh in the film. A tough cop and known to be meticulous in her investigation, her prime suspect is Salgaonkar. "Drishyam" also features the stunning Shriya Saran as Vijay's wife along with the talented Rajat Kapoor.
Boasting an ensemble cast and crew of 10 National Award winners coming together for this thriller, the film will be releasing worldwide on July 31.
A Panorama Studios and Viacom18 Motion Pictures production, "Drishyam" is directed by Nishikant Kamat and produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak, Ajit Andhare and Abhishek Pathak.
