Mangaluru, May 29: Yet another entertaining movie awaits fans of Tulu cinema.

The muhurat for Tulu movie 'Yeregla Panodchi' was held by offering puja at Shr Veerabhadra Mahamayi Temple at Car Street here on Friday, May 29.

Addressing a press meet later, Kodlu Ramakrishna, the director of the movie said, "The movie has been produced by Mohandas Pai and Balakrishna Kalaburgi under the banner of Kudlu Creations."

"This is different from all my other comedy movies. This is a complete comedy entertainer and the story is similar to things that happen in every house. This is my 25th movie. I have directed 'Ratri Pagel' and 'Tudar' before in Tulu." he added.

Actress Nithu said "I have rendered voice before for other people in Tulu movies. For the first tme, I am getting a chance to act. I am delighted."

Actor Shivadwaj said " It is nice to see so many films coming up in Tulu. But there should be some understanding among the producers regarding release dates."

Art director Thamma Laxman speaking on the occasion said " In Bengaluru, on the day of the release of the film, another film is launched. It is nice to see the same trend taking place in Mangaluru."

Vijay Kumar Kodialbail, actor Shivadwaj, Neetu, Sandeep Shetty, Arvind Bolar, Bojaraj Vamanjoor, Sundara Rai, Shobha Rai, Roopa, Raksha and Suresh Manjeshwar will be seen in different roles.

Giridar Diwan is the music director and Shashidar is the cinematographer.
