Thumbay Hospital is a 150 bed private teaching hospital affiliated to Gulf Medical University, with ultra-modern facilities to offer highly affordable services in Dubai is now open.

Dubai, May 25: T P Seetharam, Indian Ambassador to UAE on Monday May 25 inaugurated the new Thumbay Hospital in the presence of Thumbay Moideen, founder president of Thumbay Group UAE, Prof Gita Ashok Raj, provost, Gulf Medical University, Akbar Moideen Thumbay, director, healthcare division, Thumbay Group, medical director Dr Seyed Mohsen Mahmoodi, administrative director Thumbay Healthcare Division Dr Manvir Singh Walia and a host of dignitaries from various ministries, medical authorities and organizations.

T P Seetharam appreciated Thumbay Moideen for his contributions to healthcare and medical education in the country. "We appreciate his contributions in developing human capital, which is very important to the development and growth of the nation," said T P Seetharam.

The new hospital with initial strength of 150 beds, of which 75 beds are operational, is established as a brand providing quality care to patients from all over the region. The hospital is a part of Thumbay Group and GMC Hospitals and will be affiliated to Gulf Medical University, Ajman.
