Heart-felt condolences to the family .
Traffic authority to be blamed. No much speed breakers and speed limit monitoring facilities in the city.

These private bus drivers are reckless because fine imposed here is negligible...no wonder if you see the same driver next week driving with the same utmost speed. It happens only in India.

Private buses needs to be banned in Mangalore, their only intention is money making not the safety and comfort of the passengers, they drive recklessly competing with each other putting common mans life at risk, we have been silently witnessing all this for so many years, hundreds of innocent lives have been lost, how many more years should we wait for government run city buses like the BMTC in Bangalore,The private bus lobbies have been colluding with successive state governments to prevent it from happening, Why are the MLA's and ministers of DK not taking up this issue with the CM and Transport minister? It seems like they have taken suitcases from these private bus lobbies to keep quiet

All - Let us start a movement to boycott the buses till they improve. Why are we doing bandhs only upon the call of politicians? Why cannot we wake up and perform a civil disobedience movement from our end till the movement of buses are controlled? How many lives have to be lost in this manner?

Heartfelt condolences to the family. This is a bad situation, the one way which was introduced was a good idea but cloud not continue because of politicians involved and now trouble for the general public. Once the drivers of heavy vehicles and four wheel are behind the behind the wheel they think they own the roads and do not allow anyone in peace.

we are dumb and stupid Mangaloreans who see so many people die under rash and 'racing' private city buses... and not raise our voices... Perhaps many more have to give their lives before the 'private bus mafia' is destroyed...

In UAE if you kill anyone accidentally you have to pay blood money equivalent to Rs. 34 lakhs. If we introduce such a system in India unruly motorists can be controlled.

In Mangalore so many people get killed in road accidents and at the end no one knows what happens to the killers! If there is any punishment or they are just allowed to go.

    RIP!!

Unless state run buses, like the 'professionally run' BEST in Mumbai, replace majority of these "Yamadhoots", whose only consideration is maximizing profits this massacre of innocents will continue!!

No doubt DK can be crowned as the road 'accident capital' of literate India!! Jai Hind!!
