Mumbai, May 21: Tanu Weds Manu Returns seems to be getting high praise indeed with special mention to Kangana's performace as Tanuja Trivedi and Kusum Sanghwan. Neil Nitin Mukesh was so impressed he tweeted that Kangana's performance is so brilliant it compels her audiences to love her and he too had succumbed to her talent and charm.
The first movie titled Tanu Weds Manu starring Kangana Ranaut and R. Madhavan is still reminisced by its viewers and the story of TWMR starts exactly where the first one left off. Four years ahead, Tanu and Manu have a marriage on the rocks and everyone seems to be enjoying it. The storyline has people in splits with special commendations to Kangana for her double role.
Jimmy Shergill too is back on the scene and is once again looking for a bride and R. Madhavan is once again in the way.
Neil Nitin Mukesh wrote,"Just walked out of the screening of TANU WEDS MANU 2. This is surely one of the best films I have seen in the last decade. Kangana Ranaut. Is simply brilliant. She make you fall in love with her over and over again. Needless to say ... I AM IN LOVE. One of the finest Double roles played by an actor. She is competition to herself.
#kangnaranout. Director Anand rai has brilliantly presented the pallet of emotions. Always be a fan of his work but this one makes me proud to be a fan."
Preiti Zinta tweeted that, "Saw TanuWedsManuReturns & cannot tell U how much I LOVED it I'm sure it will rock the box office & all the awards #kangana #madhavan wow."
Huma Qureshi was all praises for the movie too. She wrote, "Saw #TanuWedsManuReturns OUTSTANDING!Respect @aanandlrai #Kangana @ActorMadhavan #Deepak and the whole cast.. best film in a long long time."
Aditi Rao Hydari seemed thankful to the director for making a movie worth watching, as she wrote, "Thanku @aanandlrai for
being you and for your cinema, himanshu for those words, kangana-Rockstar, deepak-epic, @ActorMadhavan-amaze #love."
Jimmy, Kangana, and Madhavan give a performance worth an encore and Deepak Dobriyal's comic timing is the cherry on the cake. If the incessant praise being garnered by Tanu Weds Manu Returns (TWMR) is anything to go by, it seems the movies just might sweep away all the audiences from the other recently released movies such as Bombay Velvet and Piku.
