Ranveer says Zoya did not let him 'swing' with Anushka and Priyanka

Mumbai, May 21: The latest instalment from the kitty of the soon to release movie 'Dil Dhadakne Do' is the "Girls like to swing' song that has Anushka and Priyanka grooving to yet another jaazy number, which admittedly Ranveer wanted to join, but wasn't allowed.

The latest song from DDD, apparently was one that Ranveer Singh really wanted to shake a leg to, alongside the leading ladies - Anushka and Priyanka. He ruefully admits to not being allowed by the director Zoya Akhtar.

The actor shared some pics of the song being shot on his Twitter handle along with the comment, “The truth is..I wanted to Swing with the girls too..But Zoya wouldn't let me! ;) #GirlsLikeToSwing @AnushkaSharma.”

While Anushka seems like she is wearing the same costume from her recently released film, Bombay Velvet - Priyanka seems totally surprised that the dancer who seemed interested in her on-screen brother Ranveer, has picked her to dance. She announces into the microphone - Girls like to swing and the bevy of beauties immediately break into a dance routine. Sunidhi Chauhan has added the oomph factor with her voice, but the song that was directed by Shankar, Ehsaan, Loy fails to make much of a impact.
