Nirbaak is intelligible to all: Sushmita Sen

Mumbai, May 17: Actress and former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen who recently had her Bengali movie titled 'Nirbaak' release nationwide yesterday, has said that since the movie has barely any dialogues it is comprehensible across audiences.

She said, “I don’t think “Nirbaak” can be remade in Hindi or any other language. The film’s essence is pretty Bengali. Moreover, it is not even needed to be presented in any other language because the film’s name is “Nirbaak” which means speechless,”

She also said, “There are very few dialogues in the film. So, anybody not only from the country but from the world can understand the film.” The actress who is of Bengali descent herself, plays a woman who has four love stories connected to her in life and in death. Director Srijit Mukherji said that "Every love story comprises one entity which is silent and thus Nirbaak (Speechless)".

The story deals with love that in unconditional and goes beyond the realm of imagination and explores the various facets that emanate from that one powerful emotion such as lust, jealousy, affection and separation.

This Sushmita's first movie in Bengali. She has acted in over 30 films in Hindi with memorable ones like Biwi No. 1, Bewafaa, Main Hoon Na and Filhaal.
