Mumbai, May 17: Excited and promoting their soon to release dance based film titled ABCD2, the lead pair of Shraddha and Varun spoke of their childhood crush on each other as well as the fact that they are interested in scouring the country and helping other people pursue their latent talent.
Speaking about the movie Varun Dhawan said, "Our film ABCD 2 connected to Mumbai and the whole country. In the film we make India's first dance team which participates in an international dance competition,"
When called upon to explain a childhood proposal by Shraddha to Varun the duo clarified that they were good friends who had liked each other as children. They explained their friendship being born due to their fathers working together on numerous ventures and that they were very happy to have gotten the opportunity today to have worked with one another.
It has been brought to light, that this lead pair will soon embark on a tour to the far reaches of the country in order to boost the confidence of young dancers everywhere. Varun said, "So, we are planning to go to different places and reach out to the people and kids, who want to do something in their life in their respective talents and art. We want to reach them and discuss how we can help them out."
Set to release on the 19th of June, Varun spoke highly of its director Remo D'souza. He said, "I know it is a very commercial film and will be talked about from the money point of view only but Remo D'Souza has not made this film with that thought. He genuinely wants that whenever anyone watches the film, he says 'anybody can dance'. We are trying to give an important message through this film that 'dance to express and not to impress'."
