Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (CLP)
Mangaluru, May 16: Days after a job aspirant alleged that Al-Naaz agency had cheated him, the agency approached daijiworld issuing a clarification, and denying the allegations levelled by the aspirant.
Anil Kumar (26) from Talapady had alleged that Al-Naaz travel agency, located at Manasa Towers, had taken Rs 1.8 lac from him and assured him of an accountant's post in Maldives, but instead it turned out to be a watchman's job. However, it turns out that it was not Al-Naaz, but another travel agency named Al-Hanifa that allegedly promised him the Maldives job.
Manager of Al-Naaz travel agency Sheen in her clarfication to daijiworld said, "Al-Naaz travel agency is not a registered company. The visa was issued by Al-Hanifa. We have not completed even one week at the office and we will be registered soon. This was a game plan to spoil the image of the company."
She further explained,"Anil Kumar came to our office for a job, and as we are not yet registered, we sent him to Al-Hanifa agency in the same building, which provided him the job of a receptionist at a company in Male and not the job of a watchmanas he claims. He was given the job of a receptionist with the basic salary of US$ 250, and US$ 58 for food, and free accommodation. It was a two-year visa signed by him and approved by the government of Male. He worked for two days only."
"It is totally a false claim that he was promised any accountant's post. Also it is also not true that Rs 1,80,000 was taken from him. We have not signed the appointment letter and visa copies. If he was not happy with the job he should have complained to the government of Male, instead of going to the media and spoiling our name. We have filed an FIR against him at Kadri police station on May 14," she said.
Meanwhile, Anil Kumar also issued a clarification stating that it was not Al-Naaz but Al-Hanifa agency that had sent him to Maldives on job. He however, stuck to his claim that he had been 'cheated'.
