'Minions' try to steal Queen's crown in new trailer

Los Angeles, May 15 (IANS): The new trailer for "Minions" shows the minions trying to steal Queen Elizabeth's crown.

The third trailer sees minions Kevin, Stuart and Bob receiving an order from their new boss Scarlett Overkill, voiced by actress Sandra Bullock, for stealing the crown, reports aceshowbiz.com

The new trailer for the movie arrived online on Thursday, reports aceshowbiz.com.

The video opens with the scene of hungry Kevin, Stuart and Bob licking each other aboard a boat. The narrator then describes the origin story of the minions:

"Minions. Have you ever wondered where they came from? They've been on this planet far longer than we have. They're all different, but they all share the same goal - to find the biggest, baddest villain to serve."

After accidentally killing their first boss, a dinosaur, the minions meet their new bosses, a stone age man, a king, a general, and a dracula.

The minions eventually meet Scarlett Overkill at the Villain-Con, the evil version of Comic-Con, and they are recruited.

Scarlett then shows a photograph of Queen Elizabeth to the minions.

"This is Queen Elizabeth, and I really really really want her crown," Scarlett tells Kevin and Bob.

The video then shows Kevin, Stuart and Bob's adventure to get the Queen's crown.

"Minions" is set to hit US theaters on July 10.
