Ajman, Mar 29: The Association of Kerala Medical Graduates and Gulf Medical College, in association with the Ministry of Health, Ajman organized joint conferences on Diabetes, Obesity and Bronchial Asthma and New Concepts in Dentistry at the Gulf Medical College earlier during the week in Gulf Medical College, Ajman.
Over 300 doctors from all over the UAE attended the conference.
Chairman Ruler's Court Ajman Sheikh Dr Majid Bin Saeed Al Nuaimi inaugurated the conference. Director Ministry of Health Ajman Hamad Taryam Al Shamsi, officials from the Ministry of Health, Gulf Medical College president Thumbay Moideen, AKMG Emirates president Dr M K Ibrahim and a host of dignitaries were present on the occasion.
Gulf Medical College dean Prof Gita Ashok Raj welcomed the delegates. In his special remarks Dr Ibrahim said that AKMG is pleased to join hands with a prestigious institutionlike the Gulf Medical College to organize such joint conferences.
Sheikh Dr Nuaimi honoured the officials from MoH and the speakers and in turn GMC president Moideen presented a special memento to Sheikh Dr Al Nuaimi during the inaugural function.
