Glider Flying is a dangerous game. I recall glider flying in Chennai when I ventured to fly with my wife and also the children. The pilot and the passenger are entirely at the mercy of nature depending on nature viz the winds.

My sympathies go to the deceased and the members of his family.

RIP. Should know how to fly a glider first. Or in foggy weather in hill-stations. It is not airballoon for 100 ft is low height just like a jump from a 1012 floors building. What if he hit a telecom tower?
