For all vehicle speed governors should be adopted. This can minimize the speed and the accidents.

We indians never learn lessons from the past accidents. There are no checks & punishements for rash driving. Rash driving is nothing short of criminal act. When I was in Udupi recently, saw a boy riding a 2 wheeler at dangerous speed (im sure 150 ) on Manipal Udupi Road. Why should we wait for an accident to take place?

One more common mistake people do is when merging from side road to main road without watching out

    RIP!!

DK roads are veritable death traps for two wheelers and smaller vehicles, chances of perishing or getting maimed are probably the highest among any city in India!! Jai Hind!!

How many lives are lost. Children being orphaned due to these Heavy Vehicle getting involved in the Accident. Just analyse the age of the driveres of these vehicles.

May be it is time to put a age limit for the drivers of heavy duty vehcile. Say age llimit shold be 40 years for heavy duty vehiccle drivvers.

Elsewhere I read that the accident was caused when the tipper suddenly stopped, and the two-wheeler riding behind the tipper, did not stop.

The blame in this case should not be on the tipper. It could come to a stop for any reason.

But the two-wheeler, riding behind the tipper, should have kept a safe distance. A large vehicle driving in front can obscure the view entirely.

So, it is in the interest of the vehicle driving behind to keep a safe distance, at least 10-12 metres.
