Mangaluru, Apr 29: 'Ekka Saka' Tulu film, produced by Ln Kishore D Shetty under the banner of Lakumi Cine Creations, is all set to release on Friday May 1 across the twin districts.
Addressing the media here on Wednesday April 29, Kishore D Shetty said, "The movie will be released in 11 theatres - Jyothi, Big Cinemas, PVR, Cinepolis in Mangaluru, Kalpana in Udupi, Inox in Manipal, Amarashree in Moodbidri, Radhika theatre in Karkala, Nakshatra in BC Road, Aruna theatre in Puttur and Bharath theatre in Beltangady. The movie has been made at a cost over Rs 1 crore."
Co-producer Chandrahas Shetty said, "'Ekka Saka' is a family film. All the artistes have supported us throughout the shooting. Tulu language is loved by everyone and all should watch 'Ekka Saka' film."
Thanking the media for supporting the Tulu film industry, Prakash Pandeshwar, producer of the Tulu film 'Chaali Polilu' said, "The media has supported us before and I am sure they will support all the way this time also."
Lead actress Sonal Monteiro (Sonal Padil) said, "This is my first Tulu movie and I am very excited. I have finished shooting for another Tulu movie called 'Jai Tulunadu'. I am also in touch with Bollywood now."
Co-producer Ln Girish Shetty, screenplay director Suraj Shetty, actors Naveen D Padil, Arvind Bolar, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Mayur R Shetty, lead actor Hitesh Naik and others were also present on this occasion.
Audio release
The audio CD of 'Ekka Saka' was released on Sunday April 26 at Sneha Sadana Ashram, Kaikamba near here in the presence of a number of children. The release function was simple and well-managed. The movie happens to be the product of Lakumi Cine Creations.

Producer of the movie Ln Kishore D Shetty, co-producers Ln Chandrahas Shetty and Girish Shetty, director K Suraj Shetty, lyricist Mayur R Shetty, D B Shekhar, publicity designer Devi Rai, and lead actors Hitesh Naik and Sonal Monteiro were present.
Speaking on the occasion, Prakash Pandeshwar, wished the movie a resounding success, and hoped that it will run in packed theatres for over 200 days. Ln Kishore D Shetty said that the movie has come off very well, and requested all the people to support this movie by thronging the theatres in good numbers. Dr Naveen Shetty presented the programme.
