Udupi, Apr 28: A dairy farmer moving on his TVS XL two-wheeler, who fell to the road after his vehicle got involved with an accident with another motor bike that was following him, was instantly killed after a truck coming from the opposite direction crushed him.
This accident happened in Yadady-Mathyady village near Shiriyara in the taluk on Monday April 27.
Narasimha Kulal (65), a resident of Shanubhogara Bettu in Guddemane near Shiriyara was killed in this tragic accident. It is learnt that a new Passion Pro motor bike that was not yet registered, came from the direction of Guddeangady and suddenly swerved to extreme right when Kulal was moving from in front of the house of Ramesh Kulal in Yadady-Matyady village, and hit Kulal's vehicle. As a result, Kulal fell to the western side of the road. Wheels of a truck coming from the direction of Shiriyara towards Gudeangady then crushed his head and chest, resulting in his death.
Kulal was going to supply milk to Shiriyara Dairy from the direction of Guddeangady when he was knocked down. He had no time to respond to this sudden development.
A case relating to this incident stands registered in Kota police station.
