Kasargod, Apr 26: Two young professionals from Kasargod have reportedly gone missing in Nepal following the massive earthquake that hit the region on Saturday April 25.
Dr Irshad (26), a resident of Anebagilu, and Mohammed Azhar Ali (23), a chartered accountant from Deli, Kasargod are the missing persons.

Azhar Ali is working in Dubai as a financial analyst for a firm. A few days back, he along with five others left for Nepal for a trip. The group was last seen at the Last Resort in Tatopani, but since the earthquake, the entire group has gone missing. Azhar has not contacted his family back home since April 25 morning, it is learnt.
The other missing persons, Dr Irshad, is pursuing MD in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh.
Dr Irshad left for Kathmandu along with two friends, Dr Deepak Thomas and Dr Abin Surya, a few days ago. They had taken a room in a hotel which is said to have collapsed in the disaster.
Though Dr Deepak and Dr Abin managed to escaped with minor injuries, there is no information about Dr Irshad.
Dr Irshad had been working at Wayanad Medical College before moving to Shimla to pursue post-graduate studies in medicine.
Sources said that his marriage is scheduled for July this year. His fiancee too is a doctor, it is learnt.
Though the Indian embassy has been contacted and efforts put in to locate his whereabouts, he has not been found yet.
