Turin (Italy), April 25 (IANS): Italian football club Juventus' forward Carlos Tevez has quashed rumours about him returning to Argentina to play for Boca Juniors in the next few years.
The striker is being linked with a move back to his home country and has previously insisted that he intends to retire at Boca, but that can only happen after he fulfils his contract with the Serie A club.
The 31-year-old's agent Adrian Ruocco has also dismissed such speculation.
"There's nothing with Boca Juniors. The media are talking too much lately. I'd rather enjoy my time at Juventus and stay concentrated on our objectives. Now we need to battle until the end because we haven't won anything yet," Tevez was quoted as saying by sportsmole.co.uk.
"We're delighted to be in the Champions League semifinals but there are still a lot of games to go and we have to be focused until the end."
Tevez is playing a pivotal role presently in Juventus’ push for the Serie A crown as his 18 goals has helped the Turin-based side maintain a 15-point lead at the top of the table.
