Udupi, Apr 23: Neeraj Shridhar, singer, songwriter and member of Bombay Vikings weaved magic on stage when he performed his evergreen popular rock songs at KMC Greens open grounds on Wednesday, April 22.

The musical nite was organized as part of MIST-2015, a seven-day Inter-Medics Sports Tournament.

Students of Kasturba Medical College welcomed Neeraj Sreedhar on stage with huge rounds of applause and deafening cheers.

Neeraj remembered a boy who would come to him and call him 'Sir'. He said the boy who still comes to see him is a respected actor now . "I do not want to mention his name," Neeraj said.

The music concert started with ‘Hey Baby’ a title song on the superbly decorated colourful stage. Other songs included ‘Tumhi ho bandhu’ from Cocktail, ‘Tum mile twist’ from Love Aajkal, 'Papa Jag Jayega’ from House and his favourite 'Prem ki naiyya hai Ram ke bharose’.

The night was full of fun with Neeraj’s Hinglish songs. Neeraj connected well with the young crowd with his melodious voice. He came close to the crowd to show his warmth and mingled with them. The crowd went berserk and enjoyed every bit of the electrifying evening. Neeraj set the stage on fire with his non-stop music. He even posed for selfies with students.

Deputy commissioner R Vishal was the special guest for this event. Delegates from Manipal University were also present.

Lavita Lobo anchored the show in her peppy style.
